About this site

Sekai no Shokutaku (世界の食卓.com) is a recipe site for finding home cooking from around the world with the ingredients you have. It currently lists 18,235 recipes from 158 countries and regions.

Sources and editorial policy

• Recipes are based on open data: MAFF Japan, Wikibooks cookbooks (CC BY-SA), UniTools World Recipes (CC BY-SA 4.0), Health Canada and TheMealDB. Every recipe page names its source and license and links to the original (sources & licenses).
• Non-Japanese recipes are translated and edited by this site (machine translation with a site glossary), with unit conversion, ingredient links and serving estimates where the source gives none.
• A dish's country or region is shown only when the source states it; the evidence is quoted on the page.
• Photos are used only under compatible licenses (public domain, CC BY / CC BY-SA, etc.) with credit.
